I genuinely liked this book. I loved Rachel because I felt I could easily identify with a character like her, and because it seemed like she could be someone I could be friends with in real life if she existed. The frenemy dynamics between Rachel and Darcy were very entertaining and realistic to some real world female relationships (I know I've had a few frenemies throughout my young life ha ha).I guess this book fits into "my type" of romantic chick lit novels because it's lighthearted but at the same time deals with important issues that could arise in anyone's life unexpectedly.
