Mockingjay (Hunger Games Series #3)

Mockingjay (Hunger Games Series #3) - Suzanne Collins This was probably my favorite book of the trilogy. The change in Peeta after he was hijacked by Snow was so unexpected, but perfect for the book. Peeta was such a nice guy and I kept feeling Katniss was taking him for granted most of the time so I think it was essential for Peeta to have been brainwashed in order for Katniss to see his true value. I was devastated with all of the deaths in this book, specially Finnick and Prim's death because they were so tragic. I think the most emotional scene for me in the book was the moment when Buttercup shows up again in District 12 and Katniss tries to make him leave because Prim is dead. I guess it's because Katniss wasn't truly able to express the pain she was feeling throughout the war until that particular scene. I really liked the books and have no regrets in reading them.
